To honor the mothers of our congregation on Mother's Day, the Sunday school students (K-6th grade) learned to sing Der Voghormia.  Choir Director, Shoghig Papoyan, practiced with our students for several weeks during assembly time to make this possible.  On Sunday, May 10, (Mother's Day) during the Badarak, our children sang beautifully as the sanctuary was filled with their angelic voices.  It was very beautiful to witness.

The same day, the children's message was given by Arakel Arisian.  Arakel gave a very special Mother's Day message.  He spoke of love and respect for God and our Mothers.  He also said that when we say “we love you” to our moms, we should show our love for her through our actions.  Arakel told the students that the same applies to God.  When we tell God “We love you God”, we should show our love for him through our actions in life.
